Buck is now Gallagher

You may have seen that Buck, the Plan’s administrator, was acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (Gallagher).

As of Monday 1 July 2024, Buck rebranded as Gallagher, and this is the name you are likely to see in communications about the Plan in future. There are no changes to the team that provides the services to you and the team’s contact details currently remain unchanged.

Gallagher is one of the world’s largest insurance brokering, risk management and benefit consulting firms. Gallagher’s Benefits and HR Consulting division provides integrated HR, pensions and employee benefits consulting, technology, and administration services to millions of people around the world.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

There will be no change to your benefits, or the Plan’s structure and finances as a result of the change. If you’re receiving your pension, it’ll continue to be paid on the same day and the core support team will remain the same. Your pension records and all information regarding your pension benefits and retirement options will continue to be provided as before.

The Plan Portal and Plan email address details will change at some point in the future. We’ll tell you about the full details at that time. For the time being please use the existing details as normal.
